Maria gets the best part
Jesus Visits Martha and Mary (Lc 10)
38 Now as they went on their way, he entered a village; and a woman named Martha received him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving; and she went to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” 41 But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; 42 one thing is needful.[f] Mary has chosen the good portion, which shall not be taken away from her.”
Jesus, some time since I opened the door of my life I invited you to enter and of course, you did not refuse, however I continued busy with my chores I left you sitting in the living room; from time to time I offer you a coffee, water or a juice and continued doing my job taking care of my family, my projects, etc. I even manage to take time to watch TV and you are still sitting there waiting.
If you were someone else, you would have left with the promise never to return; thank you for waiting for me, here I am, I am at your feet, I want to hear you, I want your word to do its job in my life, forgive me for not serving you, there is no valid excuse.
Open my ears, I lay my heart and I sit at your feet; With your wait you have already shown me your immense love for my life, You speak without words and when you use words you are going straight to the heart.
That from today there is not a moment when I leave you alone, with the word in your mouth.
